国内反拨效应研究20年:现状与思考

An Overview of Washback Studies in China Between 1994 and 2013

本文以1994—2013年中国知网(CNKI)收录的反拨效应研究论文为源数据,重点针对国内17种外语专业类期刊和两种国内重点大学学报上刊载的55篇具有较好代表性的论文进行研究。结果表明:20年来总体上国内反拨效应研究呈上升趋势,特别是近10年掀起了研究热潮,数据收集方法多样,研究方式丰富。然而,分析也发现国内反拨效应研究存在一些不足,如重复研究较多,实证研究相对匮乏且存在较大不平衡性,一些研究方法的科学性不强,有的统计方法使用不当,缺乏对反拨效应现象深层次原因的探析等。最后,文章对未来反拨效应研究的趋势进行了预测。

This paper reports an overview of washback studies in China through an extensive survey of journal articles（1994-2013） available in the CNKI database. Analyses were conducted focusing on the 55 papers of washback published in 17 major linguistic journals and 2 journals of key universities in CNKI. The results show that the research on washback has been on the rise and the last 10 years have witnessed an upsurge coupled with diversified data collection and research methods. However, there remain some persistent problems such as repetition of similar research, scarcity and imbalance of empirical research, lack of proper research design, inappropriate use of statistical analysis, dearth of in-depth exploration of underlying factors, etc. Finally, the paper makes tentative predictions of future research directions in washback study.
