本文的基本目的是阐述文学文本背后潜在的整体评价主旨。它们既可能由显性评价成分及其网络关系来加以具体体现,也可能潜在于前景化成分背后;但总体依据是前景化成分,而文本提供的相关其他信息与阅读者的有关经验也发挥相应作用,从而梳理背后的评价主旨;讨论范围涉及抒情散文和各类小说,包括现当代文本。本文的尝试有助于为文体学确立一种文学文本的深层次评价主旨解读机制。

This paper aims to account for holistic appraisal motifs behind literary texts. Such motifs may be explicitly represented with appraisal elements and their bonds in text; or they may dwell under forgrounded appraisal elements. However, they are associated in one way or another with the latter. Meanwhile, other relevant messages throughout a text, as well as readers’ reading experience per se, also play their due roles. The discussion engages literary texts from lyric to narrative prose, the latter including modern novels and short stories. The endeavour here will benefit a better understanding of the deeper appraisal meanings and hence provide a relevant interpretation mechanism for value accumulation in a cultural system.
