摘要
提出了使用多台相同脉冲激光器的脉冲位置-时分复用(PPM-TDM)技术,以TDM的形式充分利用激光脉冲的时间间隔,提高了水下激光通信速率。比较了不同激光脉冲宽度和脉冲调制阶数对系统性能的影响,验证了PPM-TDM技术在水下激光通信系统中应用的可行性。
The paper presents a novel PPM-TDM technique which employs several identical pulsed lasers. The PPM-TDM technique fully utilizes time slots between laser pulses in the form of time division multiplex- ing (TDM) and the transmission rate of the underwater laser communication system can be increased. The pa- per compared the effect of different laser pulse widths and PPM modulation orders to system performance, thereafter, the feasibility of underwater laser communication system is verified by simulation results.
