Analysis on the Work of Subject Librarians in University Libraries during the New Period

通过对学科馆员的定义、产生与发展的介绍,归纳新时期学科馆员的内涵,分析新时期学科馆员的工作特征,梳理新时期学科馆员需具备的能力,提出新时期学科馆员队伍建设的方法。

Firstly, This paper proposes the work requirements of subject librarians in the new period. By introducing awareness and definition of the work on the subject librarian, the emergence and development of the work, the paper sums up its connotation in the new era, analyzes the work features, sorts out the required capabilities to do the work, and finally, puts forward some construction methods to build a team of subject librarians in the new period.
