区域高校以服务地方为理念。协同创新对推动我国科技、经济、教育发展意义重大。区域高校实施协同创新模式主要有校校、校所、校企、校政、国际五种协同创新模式。实施协同创新提高区域高校学科专业建设,应加强学科专业结构调整,培植创新团队,精心选择和培育协同创新领军人物,以政府保障完善协同创新管理体制与运行机制。

Regional colleges and universities are oriented to serve the local economy and society, and their collaborative innovation is vital to the advance of China’s science and technology, economy, and education. The coordinated innovating modes involves inter-college, college-institute, college-enterprise, college-government and international cooperation in innovation. This article maintains that such steps be taken to bolster the disciplinary construction of regional colleges as adjusting disciplines structure, cultivating innovative teams, selecting and fostering collaborative and innovative elitists, and upgrading the government guaranteeing and coordinating management system and operation mechanism.
