基于语境参数观语义嬗变认知机制的“争”译名实之辨

On Truth & Contextualization of “Zheng” from Perspective of Interpretive Mechanism for Meaning Transmutaion in Contextual Parameters

翻译的实质特征是双语交流中的动态意义对应转换,而语词动态意义受言内外语境参数的阈限与规约。从语境参数观的语义嬗变认知视角及其运作机制出发,选取《天演论》中"争"译为例引作为实证语料和研究个案,探究其在语篇语境下的意义映射、意义暂构和语义生成等意义动态嬗变的认知表征和理据,辨析其三种主要语义生成模态,探寻译者求索作者本意的认知踪迹,描述译者的创造性意向活动,尝试将基于语境参数观的语义嬗变认知机制与翻译研究相结合,以期拓展翻译研究的理论维度和视角。

The successful translation depends on the dynamic meaning transmutation affected by inter-linguistic and extra- linguistic contextual parameters. From the perspective of interpretive mechanism for meaning transmutation in contextual pa- rameters, the research aims to achieve a demonstrative study of the motivations for truth and contextualization of ＂Zheng＂ in Tianyanlun, laying emphasis on ＂Zheng＂ ＇ s three typical models of meaning transmutation ： its coresense strengthened by inter-linguistic contextual parameters＇ projecting, currently-reconstructing and generating; its contextualized meaning con- figurated by the co-force of dueling inter-linguistic and extralinguistic contextual parameters ; its implicature entailed by ex- tralinguistie contextual parameters＇ multl-mapping. It is supposed that the cognitive mechanism in meaning transmutation in contextual parameters will be employed in broadening the theoretic perspectives in studying translations.
