摘要
词语的意义常常需要在语境中确定,因而在词汇教学中关注语境及其相应的理论显得尤为重要,是教与学过程中的关键因素。语境是进行词汇教学的关键所在,一个单词的意义是由它所处的语境环境来决定的,没有语境的支撑和帮助,词语的意义就难以用具体的含义来确定。文章分析了当前词汇教学中存在的一些问题,提出了语境理论在英语词汇教学中的引用,并从词义、歧义等方面分析语境理论的应用。
Vocabulary is one of the most important standards to measure English level. Its importance is incomparable, while the context is the key to vocabulary teaching. A word meaning is determined by its context environment. Without the support and help of the context, the meaning of words is difficult to determine the specific connotation. This paper analyzes some problems in vocabulary teaching. The context theory is ued in the teaching of Englsih vocabulary. It is also going on the analysis of the application of the context theory from the aspect of semantics and ambiguity.
