Localization of Psychology in China: Origin, Evolution and Prospects

自20世纪早期起,中国心理学的本土化进程经历了萌芽、兴起、初步探索到全面发展的历史进程,产生了一系列的本土化学术成果与研究主张。经历百余年的探索后,当下中国心理学界已开始有意识地建构原创本土心理学理论,但至今仍缺乏有国际竞争力的系统理论和具有本土契合性的研究方法,在理论内容、学科体系和队伍建设方面处于较为弱势的地位,仍需在学科范畴界定、核心框架建立和学术资源整合等方面做出进一步的努力。

Since the early 20th century, the localization of psychology in China has moved from its embryonic stage, through its rising and its initial exploration, to its full development, producing along the way a series of localized academic achievements and claims. After more than 100 years＇ exploration, current Chinese scholars of psychology have begun consciously constructing original and indigenous psychological theories. However, up to now there is still no systematic theory to win global influence and no methodology to tally with the situations in China. Psychology is enjoying a relatively weak position in that its theoretical contents, disciplinary systems and team building are far from being adequate. It still needs to put more effort into the defining of the subject areas, the establishment of core framework and the integration of academic resources.
