简论中国对美公共外交在中美新型大国关系中的作用

Analysis of the Function of China's Public Diplomacy towards the U.S.in New model of China-U.S.Relationship

中美新型大国关系的构建是中国对美公共外交实践的重要背景,公共外交是中国开展对美外交中重要的组成部分之一。本文结合对美公共外交实践现状,并以孔子学院、媒体为例,开展对中美新型大国关系构建背景下的对美公共外交作用的分析。中国对美公共外交的积极推进与落实,对于中美关系的顺利发展、亚太地区的和平稳定具有重要意义。

Public diplomacy is a most important part of China＇s diplomacy towards the U.S. and the construction of new model of China - US relationship an important background under which it is practiced. This paper analyzes the present status and evaluates its function of this public diplomacy in fields of culture exchange and media communication. Actively promoting China＇s public diplomacy toward the U.S. is meaningful for China - U. S. relationship and the stability of Asia - Pacific region. Based on the above analysis, some proposals are put forward to promote the practice of the public diplomacy.
