The Teaching Reform of Business English Major Based on Practice in Vocational Colleges

为了提高高等职业教育教学质量,在教育家陶行知先生提出的"教学做合一"思想的指引下,商务英语专业各课程的教学改革了以往"以教师为中心,以书本为中心,以课堂为中心"的传统教学方法,按照以学生为主体的现代教学模式,注重学生在做中学、学中做,"教学做合一",学练并重。实践证明,改革取得了一定的成效。由此可知,教学做合一的教学法对于我们职业院校教育教学改革、培养新世纪的技术技能人才有不可替代的作用。

In order to improve the teaching effectiveness of vocational colleges, we reform the traditional teaching method which centers teachers, books and the classes. Guided by our great educationalist Tao Xingzhi who presented the practice-based teaching method first, we apply the modern teaching mode which combines teaching and learning with drilling into the teaching practice of Business English major. The reform is effective through the result of the practice. From this we know the practice- based teaching method has a vital importance in the educational reform of vocational colleges and only by doing so can we cultivate the creativeness of the students in the 21st century.
