SSM:Development and Application of College Curriculum Resources for EAP

基于内容的语言教学是大学英语教学改革的方向。大学学术英语作为专业导向的语言后续课程,如何系统开发和应用课程资源?基于学科和学习者的需求分析,以工程管理专业学术英语资源开发与应用为例,探讨软系统方法应用于大学专业学术英语课程资源确立、应用、评估和完善的整体框架,从而使相关课程资源真实、合适、广泛和兼容。

Content-based language learning is one of the important directions of college English teaching reform.As an extended language course,EAP at college level is discipline-oriented,and thus it still remains a question how to develop and apply systematically the curriculum resources.Based on need analysis of the discipline and learners,the development and application of curriculum resources for EAP is discussed using a frame offered by SSM.A case in EAP for civil engineering management is presented,which is believed to be helpful in ensuring that the curriculum resources are authentic,suitable,extensive and compatible.
