摘要
"共同阅读"是美国大学的一类阅读活动的统称。文章分析了活动的组织及合作机构、目的、书的遴选、读者获书方式等,将"共同阅读"的特点总结为:学校重视,程序规范;与学生课程相结合;有激励机制;大学图书馆发挥积极作用。并归纳了4点启示:大学各部门联合开展阅读推广活动,重视阅读推广的长效性,吸纳学生参与阅读推广的组织,着力开展面向大一新生的阅读推广活动。
Common reading is a type of reading activities in American universities. The article analyses the implementation, participants, objectives, reading list selection, access models of reading materials of the common reading activities. The common reading activities in American universities have the following characteristics : great attention paid by universities with enforced standard procedures; combination of reading with curriculum; established promotion mechanism; and active role played by the university libraries. Some inspirations for Chinese university are also brought out such as: carry out reading promotion activities jointly by various departments of the university, pay more attention on the long-term reading promotion, encourage students to participate in reading promotion implementation work, and strive to carry out the freshman reading promotion activities.
