The principle of intelligent lubrication and technical features was introduced.Then,according to the practical application of intelligent lubrication technology in the reconstruction of No.5slab continuous casting machine in Baosteel,elaborated on the composition and working methods of the intelligent lubrication system.The application of the results showed that the lubrication is free to set the amount of feed to the lubrication points,grease cycle.Flow sensors can detect real-time operating status of each lubrication point.When there is failure to timely alarm,and can accurately determine the fault location and automatically monitor the status of each lubrication point to facilitate the operator ＇s maintenance and repair.The system is running more than six months without failure,not only improve the life segments,but also effective in reducing the consumption of lubricant,cost savings.
