岂止诗句记飘蓬——抗战中西南联大教授的旧体诗作

On the Traditional-Style Poems Written by Some Professors of the Southwest Associated University during the War of Resistance Against Japan

陈寅恪、吴宓、朱自清、潘光旦、浦薛凤、魏建功、浦江清、萧涤非等八位西南联大教授抗战期间多有旧体诗创作,当初很少公开发表。他们之间的相互唱酬不只是因为共同的文学兴趣,感情交流与相互慰藉或是更重要的因素,注重的是友情、修养与趣味。这些作品不纯然是文学问题的反映,更多地牵涉中国的政治、思想、教育、文化等,折射出大时代的精神氛围以及读书人的悲欢离合。几位教授学术背景各不相同,之所以都选择旧体诗,既确认其文化身份,让作者得以思接千古;又可以借助韵语,表达某些幽微的思绪以及不合时宜的感觉,指向的是个人修养、历史意识与文化情怀。这些"有情"且"鲜活"的史料,让我们得以了解他们在战火中的遭遇与思考、困惑与怨怼,以及压在著述背后的心情。

Professors Chen Yinke, Wu Mi, Zhu Ziqing, Pan Guangdan, Pu Xuefeng, Wei Jiangong, Pu Jiangqing and Xiao Difei of the Southwest Associated University, wrote a lot of traditional-style poems during the War of Resistance Against Japan. These poems were rarely published. Their inter-communicative poems with the same rhyme sequences were not only composed due to their common literary interest, their exchange of feelings, their mutual consolation, or other more important factors, but also meant to express their friendship, self-cultivation and interest. These poems were not purely the reflection of literary issues, but had more relationship with China＇ s situation in politics, thinking, education and culture, which reflected the spiritual atmosphere of their great times and the joys and sorrows of scholars. Although these professors had different academic backgrounds, they all chose the form of traditional-style poems to confirm their literary identity, thus linking their thought with history. They also expressed their dim thinking and untimely feeling through writing verses. They pointed to their self-cultivation, historical awareness and cultural feelings. These ＂sentimental＂ and ＂fresh＂ historical materials made us fully understand their experiences and thoughts during the wartime, and their bewilderment and resentment, and their state of mind behind their writings.
