CPC's Practice and Exploration of Resolving the Problems Concerning People's Livelihood in the Early Days of New China

新中国成立初期,党中央面临着物价上涨、失业率偏高、医疗情况和卫生水平落后、教育事业发展滞后等民生问题。对此,中国共产党非常重视民生问题,致力于民生建设的实践,把解决民生问题放在突出位置,采取有效措施着力解决了与人民基本生活密切相关的物价、就业、医疗、教育等问题,取得了显著成就。这些卓有成效的探索也为新时期进一步发展和完善民生,推进和谐社会建设,提供了十分重要的历史经验及启示。民生建设既要始终坚持"全心全意为人民服务"的宗旨,努力实现科学发展;又要能够凝聚民心,为经济建设和社会发展创造有利条件。

Since the founding of new China,the CPC central committee was faced with many problems like the rising of prices and unemployment,the underdevelopment of medical treatment,health level and education.The Communist Party of China,even since its governance,gained prominent achievement in improving people＇s livelihood by attaching great importance to the problems of people＇s livelihood,being committed to its construction and giving priority to solving the above mentioned problems.The exploration also offers valuable experience and enlightenment to the further development and improvement of people＇s livelihood,and the construction of harmonious society.CPC should always adhere to the tenet of＂serving the people wholeheartedly＂,strive to achieve scientific development,unite the people and create favorable conditions for economic construction and social development in the construction of the people＇s livelihood.
