The Selection of New Urbanization Path in Underdeveloped Areas——A Case Study of Shaoyang City

以邵阳市为例,通过SWOT-PEST方法,系统分析邵阳市域城镇化进程中存在的优势与不足、机遇与威胁,进而提出邵阳市域新型城镇化发展,要走"抓住政策机遇、培育主导产业、发挥比较优势,用好人力资源、激励民营资本"之路。

This paper analyzes systematically the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and threats during the process of urbanization in Shaoyang City through SWOT-PEST method, and then makes some recommendations of new urbanization development within Shaoyang City, i. e. , “to seize the policy opportunity, to develop dominant industry, to develop comparative advantages, to make good use of human resources, and to stimulate private capital”.
