Multidimensional Complex in Ecological Civilization——re-understanding of Ted Hughes' animal poems

英国桂冠诗人泰德·休斯是二战后英国文坛上涌现出来的最重要代表人物之一,他创作出了许多以猛禽凶兽为题材的动物诗。在生态危机日益严重的时代,休斯为重构人与自然的和谐关系,在诗学上进行着不懈地追求。文章从生态批评的视角出发,探讨休斯动物诗中的动物情结、生态情结、暴力情结和反传统创作情结,解读休斯作品中的多维情结观。

Ted Hughes, a British poet laureate, is one of the most important representative poets in England after World War II. He created a lot of animal poems in which raptors and fierce animals are described. In the era full of ecological crisis, he practices his poetic quest of the re- establishment of the harmony between human and nature. Based on ecocriticism, this paper discusses the multidimensional complex of ＂animal complex＂ , ＂ecological complex＂, ＂violence complex＂ and＂ anti - traditional creation complex＂ in his animal poems.
