摘要
我国外语教学中目的语文化的偏向性输入、母语文化的缺失以及西方强势文化的渗透导致了英语学习者出现了文化身份危机的问题。在全球化语境下,必须以民族传统文化为根基建构英语学习者的文化身份,增强民族归属感和自豪感,但同时要引导学习者在鉴别中西文化中学会扬弃,取其精华,弃其糟粕,使文化身份随着人格的完善而完善。
The cultural identity of English learners in China has somewhat been put at stake due to the overwhelming influence of western culture as well as the absence of input of source language culture in the foreign language teaching where focus has traditionally been put on the input of target language culture. It is suggested that in the context of globalization we should construct the cultural identity of the English learners with the traditional Chinese culture as the core in order to enhance their sense of belonging and national pride. Meanwhile, they should also be guided in learning how to develop what is useful and discard what is not by differentiating both Chinese and western cultures.
