从翻译质量评估模式评宇文所安译《茅屋为秋风所破歌》

Application of Translation Quality Assessment Model in Assessing Owen＇s Translation

翻译质量的评估需要借助理论的指导，德国学者朱莉安·豪斯对翻译质量评估提出了系统的理论和方法。本文依据豪斯的“翻译质量评估模式”及其运作过程，分析和评估宇文所安对杜甫《茅屋为秋风所破歌》的英译文，在理论指导下对译文质量作出评价。宇文所安的英译本与原文相比包含少量概念意义和人际意义的偏离，但这种偏离不影响文本的主要功能。总体来说，译本在概念和人际意义上实现了与原文的对等，译文的质量较高。

Assessment of translations needs the guidance of theories, and German scholar Juliane House puts forward systematic theory and method to help assessing translations. Based on House＇ s “translation quality assessment model”, this paper analyzes and assesses Stephen Owen＇ s translation of My Thatched Roof is Ruined by the Autumn Wind by Du Fu. Through the analysis and assessment, it is found out that Stephen Owen＇ s translation consists of several deviations in conceptual and interpersonal meanings which have little impact on the entire function of the text. In general, the translation has achieved equivalence with the source text in conceptual and interpersonal meanings, which makes it a translation of high quality.
