否定类公示语英译：基于礼貌原则和泰特勒翻译原则的研究

English Translation of Negative Public Signs： A Study Based on Politeness Principle and Tytler＇ s Translation Principles

根据礼貌原则对英汉否定类公示语进行比较分析，然后以泰特勒提出的三大翻译原则为标准分析我国否定类公示语的翻译现状，据此提出汉语公示语英译的四种翻译方法，即显性否定对应法、隐性否定对应法、替换法、省译法。

Based on a comparative analysis between English and Chinese negative public signs from the perspective of Politeness Principles, this paper analyses the present situation of the English translation of Chinese negative public signs, attempting to propose a series of translating methods, including explicit negative structures for negation, implicit negative structures for negation, positive structures for negation and elision of negation.
