莲花，又称荷花，自古以来就被人们视为祥瑞和圣洁之物而深得民众喜爱。莲（连）和荷（和），集谐音巧联为一体，人们用“出污泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖”来描写其纯洁高雅的品格，又以“清水出芙蓉，天然去雕饰”来形容莲花的外貌之美。

The article intends to analyze different applications of the lotus pattern of Song Dynasty in ceramic wares through its composing,color and other methods,considering culture,politics and economy backgrounds in song dynasty.
