摘要
基于高校内涵式发展的理论视角,以格兰杰因果检验方法为基础,利用北京和上海的相关数据,分析了高等学校在校生规模和当地人均GDP之间的关系。结果发现,两地的高等教育规模对推动当地经济增长的作用并不明显,说明外延扩大型的高等教育发展模式无助于促进经济增长。此外,从高等教育内涵式发展的视角对此进行了反思,特别强调了高等教育在这种发展模式转变过程中应当注重对技术和技能的生产。
Adopting techniques of Granger Causality Test, this paper analyzes the interrelation between the scale of higher education and economic growth with the data of Beijing and Shanghai. It finds that higher education does not play a very obvious role in promoting local economic grown. This seems to mean that the expansive growth of universities does not necessarily bring about higher GDP. This paper also conducts some retrospection of China's higher education growth from the perspective of connotative development and goes on to point out that the university shall pay more attention to technique and technology in its transformation of growth model.
