On the Extended Applications of College Computers Based on Simulated Network Environment

高校教学机房是教学、实践的重要场所.教学软件在机房计算机中应用,通常都是运行在单机模式,不符合实际工作情景.通过GNS3软件和VMWare虚拟机软件的结合应用,在单一计算机中搭建一个模拟实际网络运作应用环境,在这个网络环境中进行教学,可让学生置身于一个类似实际工作的网络环境中学习,使得机房计算机的应用得到拓展和提升.

University teaching computer lab is an important place for teaching and practice. Teaching software usually runs in a single computer mode and does not fit in with the actual working scenario. We have proposed an integrated application of software GNS3 and virtual ma- chine software VMW by simulating network operating environment on a single computer, under which, teaching is conducted. This arrangement makes it possible for students to study under a simulated network environment. The application of lab computers is thus extended and promo- ted.
