Urban Sculpture in the Construction of International Holiday Island

本文结合海南国际旅游岛建设,描述海南城市雕塑的现状和存在的问题,强调城市雕塑对建设国际旅游岛的重要性,并提出雕塑作品需要有整体规划、形式美感、地域性特征和人文生态元素,以及与环境的有机结合,谋求城市雕塑建设在文化和经济效应方面的发展。

This article includes research of the construction of international holiday island in Hainan, and to discuss current situation of urban sculpture in Hainan and some existed problems, then to focus on the importance of urban sculpture for the construction of international holiday island , this article also indicates that sculpture should owns complete plan, formal beauty, regional features, humanist and ecological elements, it should integrated with the local environment, artists should seek for the development of the urban sculpture in cultural and economical aspects.
