本文从多元文化的内涵及起源入手,阐述了多元文化服务是城市图书馆特别是大都市图书馆的社会责任,论述了图书馆多元文化服务的内涵,及如何持续开展多元文化服务。

This thesis starts with the original concept of multi-culture, proposes that multicultural services is the social responsibility of city libraries, especially those in metropolitan areas. Furthermore, it elaborates the content of multicultural services in publie libraries, as well as how to develop such services in a sustainable way.
