美国是世界上档案工作发展水平最高的国家之一,尤其是档案鉴定工作具有典型代表性。无论从保管期限表的制定方法、结构体系、内容要点还是具体实施过程,中美都存在不少异同点。本文旨在通过对中美通用档案保管期限表进行比较研究,以期为我国档案鉴定工作的优化提供参考。

The United States, as one of the old capitalist countries, the solid foundation of the political, economic, technological and cultural aspects decides that it is one of the countries that the level of archives work development stands on the highest level in the world, especially the work of archives appraisal is a typical representation.Whether the development methods, structural system, content elements or specific implementation process of the retention schedule, there are many similarities and differences between China and the Unites States. This article aims to develop meticulously a comparative analysis of Chinese and American general records retention schedules,in order to give some proposal to improve our general records retention schedule.
