摘要
在"从中国之思想或哲学下手"以"照明中国文化历史中之精神生命"和"中国历史文化之大路"的普遍价值与现代活力的创造性阐发中,作为现代新儒家重镇的唐君毅先生认为,中国文化的重要精神之一,就是由孔子通古今、合天人、合知行以及"全面的"人文精神所奠定而成为中国哲学之基调或大本大原的普遍和谐之融通智慧。其重要表现之一,就在于中国哲学中具有无对性、虚灵性、主宰性、涵盖性的"心"以及能兼具知神气、统贯心性情而如一的人心观。
A master of neo-Confucianism in modern China,Tang Junyi thinks that the universal and harmonious wisdom of accommodation is the keynote and ultimate origin of Chinese philosophy. This keynote and ultimate origin was established by Confucius in his illustration of a"wholesome"humanism of knowing the past and present,harmonizing men and heaven and combining knowledge with practice. With this consideration,Tang has creatively explicated the universal values and modern vigor of "the avenue of Chinese historical culture",which "illuminated the spiritual life in it","in terms of Chinese thought or Chinese philosophy". Moreover,Chinese philosophy embodies an open,original,dominant and inclusive "mind"and view of all-knowing human mind which governs human mind,character and emotion.
