Regional Resource Consumption and its Drivers in China

摘要 高职院校要构建"训研创"一体的培养模式,通过实训、研发和创新的有机融合,将创新素质的养成贯穿于学生的知识学习和技能训练的全过程。"训研创"一体的实训综合体,为学生的实践创新活动提供开放式的活动平台。"以创新能力培养为目标、以实训综合体为载体、以奖励学分制为纽带"的三课堂联动的实践创新能力培养体系,将实践创新教育由课内拓展到课外、校外。 Domestic material consumption (DMC) for Chinese 30 provinces from 1998 to 2011 is measured, and its drivers including population, wealth, urbanization, industrial structure, and technology on the DMC changes are analyzed using the Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population, Affluence, and Technology, STIRPAT (STIRPAT) model. The results show that the regional DMC in China varies greatly between provinces and most of the provincial material consumption increased during 1998-2011. Regional DMC increases in China are mainly driven by GDP per capital and population, whilst and urbanization has a limited effect on DMC changes. This growth is offset by the development of the third industry and technology improvement toward a less-material consumption.
