摘要
一词多义是语言的一个普遍现象,也是英语学习的一个难点。从认知隐喻角度去研究一词多义,能够比较清晰地揭示其中多个意义的发展规律和各个意义之间的联系,从而对英语词汇教学有所启示。
Polysemy is a common phenomenon in language and a difficulty point for English learners .The Study of polysemy from cognitive metaphor approach could uncover the developing law of meanings and the relationship among them , and thus throw light on English vocabulary teaching .
