跨文化交际教学中的中西文化偏差及其反思

On the Deviation and Its Countermeasures between Chinese and Western Culture in Intercultural Communication Teaching

文化软实力是国家综合实力的表现,在国际影响方面起着重要作用。本文试图对现有英语教材及教学内容中的中西文化的比例进行比较,认为目前的英语教学中中西文化内容的比例很不协调。只有通过改革现有教学大纲,对母语文化的教与学提出明确要求,通过教材中母语文化的大量增加以及通过考试的手段来强化学生的学习才能使我们的青年学生传承并传播中华文化,才能在国际势力中发挥文化软实力的作用。

As a soft power, culture plays a very important role in the national comprehensive strength and the international influence. The author believes that the Chinese culture is out of proportion along with the western culture through comparing the content of the two kinds of cultures. To train the students ＂ability to inherit and spread Chinese traditional culture and make the culture effective in the international influence, we must reform the current curriculum, putting forward clear requirements to the teaching and learning about Chinese culture; and should add much content of Chinese culture in all kinds of English textbooks and set up a kind of special exam to enforce the study of Chinese culture.
