泛政治化的儒道并立的文化思潮,使西晋时期的多数文学家在思想上游移于儒道两种文化之间,在创作中表现出两种思想的矛盾与融合。在这个特殊的政治环境中审美文化得到空前的大发展,怡情山水的审美情趣在西晋时期初露端倪,为后来山水诗的兴盛奠定了基础。

Confucius and Taoism,over-politicalized,coexisted in Xijin.As a result,most writers wandered between the two cultures back at that time .Their works show contradiction as well as integration of the two ideas .Aesthetic culture was pushed forward in this particular polit-ical environment .The theme of nature started at this period of time and made a firm foundation for its later prosperity .
