摘要
在学界对图书馆二元性研究的基础上,提出了图书馆服务功能(或业务活动)的二元结构与人员的二元结构新论。从二元结构的形成原因、特征及其影响等方面分析了二元结构的内在关系——业务活动的二元结构导致了图书馆人员配置的二元化,即功能决定人员,人员影响功能的关系。鉴于两者之间的内在关系以及现代图书馆一体化服务功能的加强,提出促使二元结构向一元结构转化的机制及其在转化过程中需要注意的几个方面。
On the basis of academic research on the duality of the library, we propose a new theory of the dual structure of the library on services(or business) and personnel. The paper analyzes the intrinsic relationship between the dual structure from the perspectives of reasons leading to the duality, its characteristics and impact, namely, the dual structure of business activities has led to the duality of library staffi ng. In other words, function determines personnel, whereas personnel affect the function. Given the inherent relationship between the two and the purpose of strengthening modern library integrated services, we propose the mechanisms of the dual structure transformation to the unitary structure and the issues to be addressed in the process of transformation.
