摘要
钛白粉(TiO_2)由于具有高折射率、细粒度和高白度,能赋予纸张良好的不透明度,因此广泛用作圣经纸的主要填料。但钛白粉价格昂贵,为尽可能降低生产成本,本研究采用复合钛白粉用于圣经纸提高不透明度,以期替代部分或全部钛白粉。研究结果表明:通过对比单元助留剂和双元助留剂的助留效果,开发出了适合圣经纸的双元助留体系,填料留着率最高能达到77.6%;3种复合钛白粉中,248号的留着率和不透明度均最高,且略优于钛白粉。因此,248号复合钛白粉可以完全替代钛白粉用于圣经纸。
Because of the high refractive index, small size and high brightness, titanium dioxide can provide the paper with high opacity, that is often used to bible paper as the main filler. But titanium dioxide is very expensive, composite titanium dioxide was used to increase the opacity of bible paper in this paper in order to reduce the usage of titanium dioxide. The results shows that by comparing the units and binary retention system, the appropriate binary retention system for bible paper has been developed, and the filler retention can be attained 77.6%. The No. 248 composite titanium dioxide of the three kinds of sample could be attained the highest filler retention and opacity of bible paper, and that's slightly better than titanium dioxide. Therefore, No. 248 composite titanium dioxide can be used in bible paper to replace titanium dioxide.
