Supply chain owns properties of complexness, dynamic, openness and network, and is under risks from both the internal and the external. In order to mitigate risks, the approach of robustness is most often adopted to mange companies and supply chains. Robustness management for supply chain is consist of supply management, demand management, product management and information management. Robustness approach plays a vital role in stabilizing supply chains. In addition, the approach enables member companies sharing the net to complement each other with their own strengths, avoid risks, and synergize efforts in development and cooperation.
