To explore the concepts of ethics and their importance on the management of blood centers. Several examples of ethical practices in Shanghai Blood Center were analyzed. Core values were established; employee relations were managed;team cohesion was enhanced. Ethical practices in management and culture construction of blood centers is of significant importance for enhancing team cohesion,providing satisfactory donor and recipient services,and promoting the progress of medical technology.
