By applying the register theory into the translation of commercial contracts , this paper tries to explore the distinctive features of commercial contracts related to register ,and further discusses how to achieve equivalence from the aspects of ideational meaning ,interpersonal meaning and textual meaning .T hus ,it provides some enlightenment for the translation practice of commercial contracts .
