Implementation points of GB/T 29862--2013 Textiles--Identification of Fiber Content were described. Content of GB/T 29862--2013 was analyzed and contrasted with FZ/T 01053--2007 standard. The differences between two versions standard were summed up. Problems that textile garment enterprises should pay attention to in the new standards implementation were pointed out, reasonable proposals were given. It is considered that the new standards is more accord with actual products, the new standard should be seriously studied and understood by textile garment enterprises, the new standard should be performed properly, the risk of failure due to the fiber content identification should be reduced.
