The construction, application status and challenges of enterprise GIS Platform in the telecom operators IT support system were introduced. The feasibility of the cloud GIS platform architecture construction from the perspective of cloud computing was discussed. The key technologies of the cloud GIS platform construction were studied and analyzed to offer a reference for the communication industry practitioners in the system planning and implementation process.
