The application of TRD construction method in deep foundation excavation in Shanghai Pudong area is introduced. Through the analysis on the difference between soil-cement pile and trench-cutting remixing deep wall（ TRD wall）,the characteristics and advantages of TRD construction method are concluded. Through a TRD construction method testing,the feasibility of pre-set construction parameters and the key points of construction quality management in deep foundation excavation are proved from construction efficiency and technique angle.
