Caucasus:an Exploration into the Ethnic and Religious Issues in Tolstoy's Writings

在俄罗斯文学发展历史中,高加索历来是作家们关注的焦点。列夫·托尔斯泰继普希金、莱蒙托夫创作了大量高加索主题作品之后,成为另外一个钟情于高加索的文学大师。本文以托尔斯泰的《袭击》、《伐林》、《哥萨克》、《高加索的俘虏》、《哈吉穆拉特》系列高加索小说为分析对象,尝试对其中表现的民族矛盾与冲突及独特的少数民族信仰与文化进行分析。

Caucasus has always been the focus of Russian writers in the developmental history of Russian literature. After Pushkin and Lermontov created a lot of works with Caucasia theme, Leo Tolstoy became another literary master on Caucasus. By analyzing Tolstoy＇ s The Ralht, The Wood-Felling, The Cossacks , A PriSoner in Caucasus, Hadji Murat,etc., the author attempted to explain the ethnic contradictions and conflicts, and the beliefs and cultures of minority nationalities, which were embodied in the works.
