Correlation between CD133 and osteopontin expression and biological behariors of human brain glioma

摘要 目的 探讨CD133和骨桥蛋白(OPN)在胶质瘤组织的表达水平及其与胶质瘤病理学特征的关系.方法 应用免疫组织化学法检测55例胶质瘤组织和16例正常脑组织中CD133和OPN表达水平.结果 CD133在胶质瘤组织的阳性表达率为63.64%,明显高于正常脑组织阳性表达率(12.50%),两者差异有统计学意义(P<0.01),OPN在胶质瘤组织的阳性表达率78.18%,明显高于正常脑组织的阳性表达率(6.25%),两者差异有统计学意义(P<0.01);CD133及OPN表达水平与胶质瘤组织学分级明显相关(P<0.05).结论 CD133及OPN的过度表达均反映胶质瘤的生物学特性. Objective To investigate the expression of CD133 and osteopontin (OPN) and their relation to pathological features in human brain glioma.Methods The expression levels of CD133 and OPN in 55 cases of human brain glioma tissues and 16 cases of normal brain tissues were detected by using immunohistochemical method.Results The expression rate of CD133 in brain glioma tissues was higher than that of normal brain tissues (63.64% vs.12.50%,P 〈0.01),and that of OPN in brain glioma tissues was higher than that of normal brain tissues (78.18% vs.6.25%,P〈0.01).The expressions of CD133 and OPN was related to histological grades of glioma (P 〈 0.05).Conclusion The expressions of CD133 and OPN is closely related to the malignant behaviors of glioma.
