Construction,Integration and Language Intensification:An Exploration into Away Construction

致使移动构式群中有一个独特构式:"致事+致使移动动作+客体+away"。本文在认知构式语法主导下基于语料库调查发现:此构式统制含有九类参与动词的承继构式群,富含各类动宾整合和跨域识解。此构式已发展为高能产构式,成为该构式网络中的独立节点。可以用经济学的"集约化"概念来揭示此个案的高效整合现象,并可推广到整个语言构式网络。这种语言基本规律可从崇尚整体性的认知构式语法角度观察到。

Among caused-motion constructions stands a unique construction： Causer ＋ causative act ＋ object ＋ away. Led by Cognitive Construction Grammar and based on corpus investigations, the present study finds nine clusters of verbs participating in the construction, which is filled with various verb-object integrations and cross-domain constru- als. Therefore, Away Construction has developed into a highly productive construction and formed an autonomous node in the network of caused-motion constructions. The efficient integration found in this case can be explained with the concept of ＂intensification＂, originally an economics term. This explanation can be applied to the whole construction network of language as well. This basic rule of language can be observed from the perspective of Cognitive Construction Grammar which promotes holism.
