摘要
第一次科技革命产生的巨型技术虽然重要,但不再是未来的主导技术。本文探讨了强调小型化和电子过程的新兴技术,如纳米技术、生物技术、IT与ICT技术,特别是已经变革了科学的成像技术;论述了数字化、计算机断层扫描及无所不在的通信技术,如手机;指出新技术在社会政治方面给人类带来了新挑战,影响着人与技术之间的关系;认为技术哲学是实践性和实验性的,未来的技术哲学必须适应并分析技术的新进展,使其具有适应性与创新性。
As my contribution to the future of philosophy of technology panel, I discuss the new and emergent technologies which emphasize miniaturization and electronic processes such as nanotechnology, biotechnologies, IT and ITC technologies and in particular, imaging technologies which have transformed science. I also discuss digitalization, computer tomography and the ubiquity of certain communication technologies such as the mobile phone. I suggest that for the future, philosophy of technology must adapt to and analyse such new developments.
