“国际汉语”:作为“国际性语言”的汉语如何发展 被引量:7

摘要 何为"国际汉语"?在全球化语境下对汉语本质重新考察,可以看到,"汉语"已经成为一个复数的概念,而不同国家、地区的汉语的总合就是"国际汉语"。世界各国的汉语是其所在国的文化资源,各国的汉语不仅存在语言上的差异,同时也存在文化上的差异。海外汉语和汉语教学首先涉及到海外华人的语言权益问题。世界各国的汉语和汉语教学如何发展,自然首先应该由所在国政府和华人社区来决定。通过对"国际汉语"概念的讨论,以新的、全球化的观念替代传统观念,才能更好地理解和发展作为"国际性语言"的汉语。 What is the concept of 'teaching Chinese as an international language'? If we look at the nature of Chinese against the context of globalization,we will have to treat the term Chinese as a plural. This paper argues that there are many versions of Chinese in the world. The sum total of them should be called international Chinese. All versions of Chinese are cultural resources in their respective countries. There are not only linguistic differences,but also cultural differences among these versions of Chinese. The fundamental issue of Chinese and Chinese teaching in oversea countries concerns primarily the language rights of the overseasChinese people. How should Chinese and Chinese language teaching be developed in oversea countries in the world? This should be determined by local Chinese communities and governments. The discussion of the concept of 'teaching Chinese as an international language'will help us replace the traditional monolingual concept of Chinese,so that Chinese can be understood and developed as an international language.
