摘要
近年来随着大学生国际交流频率和质量的不断提升,大学生尤其艺术类学生在公共英语课中所习得的语言能力虽能满足日常普通交流,但对于专业性和学术性较强的交流沟通却力不从心。本文旨在探讨CBI教学理念下ESP教学的基本概念、教学原则与教学目标,并试图设想在艺术类大学中开设ESP课程所涉及的教材选编、课堂模式和学习模式等问题。
College students, especially those majoring in arts re-cently found that those English skills they acquired in college English classes can well serve the casual daily talks, but fail to meet their needs to do academic or professional communications. To help solve the problem, this paper intends to explore the theo-retical foundation and methods of employing ESP teaching in teaching sessions, and to delve deeply into the teaching texts, teaching mode as well as learning mode concerning ESP teaching.
