Practice and Reflection of Library New Media Services:A Case Study of Xiamen University Library

The paper summarized the current status of new media services of domestic libraries in the context of rapid development of mobile network. It elaborated the service practices in Microblog, WeChat and mobile libraries in Xiamen University library, and pointed out existing problems of library new media services in fields of industry awareness, public opinion control capability and team construction. It stated that only when libraries were willing to accept and know about new media, make adaptation to changing circumstances and to make constant innovation they able to utilize and properly control the new media services.
