摘要 本文主要是设计了一个背光的LED驱动电路。这个LED驱动电路包括了软启动电路、热保护电路以及电压保护电路等等。软启动电路可以使避免驱动电路产生的浪涌电流,热保护或者电压保护也可以提高驱动电路的稳定性。驱动电路还采取的恒流结构来提高电流的精度。驱动电路的正常工作温度范围在-40℃~140℃,与其它的同类驱动电路相比较,它的工作温度在高温部分要高出50℃~60℃。论文中给出了驱动电路的一些重要的参数。如电流的纹波在30mv^50vm之间,在整个工作温度的范围内,电荷泵的效率最高达到90%多,随着温度变化,效率几乎没有什么变化。 This paper shows a design of LED drive for back light applications. The LED drive circuit include soft start circuit, thermal protection circuit, overvoltage protection circuit. The soft start cireuit is integrated to prevent the surge current from causing permanent damage to the chip. The drive circuit takes the constant current structure to improve current precision. The operating temperature of the drive circuit ranges from -40℃-140℃, which is 50℃-60℃ higher in high temperature part compared to other similar LED drives . The paper gives important parameters of the LED drive circuits under CSMC 0.5 um process. The current ripple is 30mv-50mv and the max efficiency of charging pump is higher than 90 percent. Performance of the LED drive merely change with various temperature.
