In the late Ming and early Qing＇s literary world, Qian Qianyi＇s reputation as a great master dominated his time. However, far behind his honor, hc was unfortunate. The transformation from Donglin leader to plead guilty, Qian Long＇s evil assessment plays a guiding role, and Qian＇s engagement in anti-Qing movement worked as a footnote for Qian Long＇s criticism.
