运用正确的方法调解社会矛盾纠纷,是公安机关一项重要的基层基础工作,也是基层公安民警做好群众工作的基本功,它关系着改善和加强警民关系,维护社会的和谐与稳定。广大公安民警在实践中创造了许多行之有效的调解方法和技巧,经过系统研究,从中总结、提炼8种常用的具体方法,并着重从操作层面进行初步探讨。

Using correct method to mediate social contradictions and disputes is not only a piece of important grassroots work of public security organs, but also the grounding of the police for better mass work. It has a bearing on improving and strengthening the relations between the police and the people, maintaining social harmony and stability. The police have created many effective mediation methods and techniques in the practice. The author summarizes and refines eight specific methods through systematic research, and carries on the preliminary discussion emphatically on the operating level.
