This paper describes several types of oil-immersed air-cooled transformer, and then reviews the development process of the transformer cooling machine and their advantages and disadvantages, analyzes the development and usage of air-cooled oil-immersed transformer in China, and proposes to control cooling fan starting by oil temperature value.
